2016 Happy Valentine’s Day Card

Happy New Year! It has been a while since my last post. I am trying to have more time in making cards this year, and here's my first card of the year. A red card with lots of hearts.

This is my first time to experience with alphabets rubber stamp. I stamped the words ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ and placed it on the middle of the card. And couldn’t deny, it was fun during the process. There is a polka dot ribbon right below of the card and I also used the twine strings on the left of the card. Finally, I filled the card with beautiful hearts.

The card comes with a piece of beige paper for your personal message and with a pink envelope. Lastly, I hope everyone have a sweet and memorable Valentine’s Day!

Dangling Hearts Card

A third card from me… the black card with dangling hearts. This time, I drew few dotted lines with my silver pens and stick 3 foam hearts to make the card. Then, I decorated the remaining space with smaller pink and red hearts. The pink heart is the same as the technique I used in the previous card – glue only a side of the heart and fold up the other half.

I think the red polka dot ribbon just suits on every Valentine’s Day card, because I ended up using it again in this card. I thought of trying another white patterned ribbon but it just doesn’t look nice. And lastly, the simple wordings ‘Happy Valenitne’s Day’ card, are attached to the card.

Lots of Love Valentine’s Day Card

This is the second Valentine’s Day card of the year. I got the inspiration from my best friend. As you can see, the hearts of the bright red is a bit stand out. No double sided tape is required. I only glue the other half of the heart on the paper and folded a bit on the other half of the heart. And I think it looks pretty nice on the effects! I may want to make the same card with another colour, perhaps, purple?  But I will have to get another purple polka dot ribbon first. Haha…

It was tied with the same polka dot ribbon as the previous card and finally a heart tag with the words ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ attached to the card.

2015 Happy Valentine’s Day Card

Happy New Year! It has been a long time since may last post. Yes, I am back again to make cards and this is my first Valentine’s Day card for 2015. Hopefully more cards will come before the actual Valentine’s Day.

This card is made of red hard cover paper and pasted with pink stripes. There is this couple hearts as well, one with the pink heart and another one in red, sticks with double sided foam tape. And when I got a new polka dot ribbon early of the year, I couldn’t resist using it on this card. I think it will look nice on all the Valentine’s card.

I ‘HEART’ You Card (with Pop up birthday ornaments)

Hey, I am back! Sorry that it has been a long break since my last post. Well, I have made a big move since May and am trying to get myself adapt to the environment. Hopefully I can still be able to take orders from you, though it may not be as much as I can last time till I am able to settle down.

Anyway, back to the card, I made this card early of April. It was a request from my client to make a combination of a birthday card with pop ups inside the card. The design is actually based on card V005-P; however my client requested to have birthday ornaments on the card as well. So, instead of having all small hearts at the front of the card, I replaced some of them with balloons and presents.

Inside of the card is also a combination of hearts and birthday ornaments, such as cakes, party hats and balloons. The card is in half A4 size and comes with a pink envelope.

It has been silent for the past few weeks. Yes, I am a bit busy recently and now back again on track. So, I better share the remaining balloons birthday cards I made last month before more cards are coming in soon! 5 more to go and I’ll just share all in one post.

The balloons on all these cards are almost similar to one another. I cut out the balloon shape in assorted colour papers so that it will be more cheerful. I also used wrapping papers or punched out stars to decorate the back of the card. Ribbons! Yes, I have it on each of the card to let it feels like a gift!

Julius (Paul Frank) Birthday Card

I have a request from my client to make a birthday card with Julius, the monkey by Paul Frank. It’s my first time of making Julius and my client wanted the card to be colourful. So, I made balloons, presents, cake and banners in various colours! It’s fun to work on the card because it’s cheerful. This card does not have any special accessories (ribbons, jewellery stickers, embellishments) used, no double sided tape and nothing, just cut and paste with colourful papers.
