Guess I do not have much time to make Christmas cards and send out to my friends since Christmas is just in few days more.

So, instead of making Christmas card, I made another multi-occasion card for lovers… Yes, this card can be used as Valentine’s card as well… There is some space inside the card (beige paper) for your personal message. But if you need my help, just let me know what you would like to write inside the card, I will try my best to help you. I can even send it straight to your lover, providing the receiver’s address is given.

Lovely Valentine’s Day Card

While working on Christmas cards, I think it would be better to finish off my very old project, a Valentine’s card instead. :P I tried to complete this card few months ago but unfortunately, I really do not have the time. So, today, I spent some time for this card and here it is! Which is for the coming Valentine’s Day, 2011.

A card full of hearts… I believe, couples will surely love this card because I, myself will love it too, to see so many hearts on the cards. Haha… let me know if you are not… :P

 

The words inside the big hearts were written by me line by line. And I decorated the heart with flowers and heart-shaped stickers. And at the bottom of the big heart is attached with a pink ribbon and a tag. However, if you would like to change the words inside the tag, I can try to do it for you…

 

As usual, it comes with a beige in colour paper inside the card for your personal message and a light pink envelope.

A long hibernation

Oh my, it has been so long since my last post. Sorry guys, I was just too busy and couldn't make up some time to post anything here. This is a simple and sweet card. Thanks to my friend who gave me a beautiful punch, the heart shape punch! This card is my first trial to use the punch. Though it is a bit hard to use the punch, but the result it gives really satisfy me! =D

As you see, I cut off 4 boxes from the front of the card. The paper inside the card is light pink colour. So, it is visible through the boxes. To not have the boxes felt empty, I pasted maroon flowers inside of each of the boxes. As for the other maroon boxes, I pasted the punched lovely hearts in between the boxes. And to complete the front of the card, I wrote ‘love you’. Of course, if you would like to change the words in front of the card, you can let me know…

Maroon Flower Birthday Card

Finally I’m back! I am still in the progress in making cards. But not to disappoint you, let me show you this sweet flower card for now. Once I’m back, I straight headed to my favourite stationery shop to check out for new papers. And I got my luck! I found this sweet light pink hard paper with special texture on it and I love it!

Then, I found this maroon coloured paper. I thought this is going to be a very sweet combination. So I tried to make a card with it. This card is special to me because it is my first time to have glued flowers combined to each other inside a frame. Yes, just stick the flowers on each other to join. Then sticked the flowers on the paper. And Tada….

The left hand side of the card is tied with a maroon ribbon and a birthday tag. If you would like to change the wish text, you can let me know. Inside of the card is attached with a beige paper for your personal message. And this card comes along with a light pink envelope. I’m hoping to make the same design with other colour combinations soon!

Sending You My Love Card

Lately, I have been trying to play with a butterfly in shape punch, borrowed from a friend of mine. That’s very kind of her for letting me to play with it first before she even starts using it! Grateful to have a friend like her…

But this card, I made is not using butterflies as the main theme yet because the butterfly punch is quite small. I might consider of getting bigger butterfly punches soon, to add into my craft punches collection.

I made a heart full of flowers in it. These flowers are made one by one of course. So, I had spent most of the time on the flowers. I even wrote ‘Love you’ phrases all around the flowers with my pink and purple metallic pens. Other than that, I added a tag right at the middle of the card, with the words, “Sending you my love…”. The tag is then attached onto the card with a purple ribbon.

Unlike the usual card I made, I did not attach a paper inside the card for personal message. Instead, I placed a piece of paper directly to the card and decorated with some butterflies. As you can see, the butterflies are like a 3D butterflies! Yes! They are like flying! Loves this effect so much… Hope to use this techniques more in future…

Card with a virtual pet as a theme

This is a birthday card made for my colleague few months ago. Accidentally found it when I was viewing cards I made up to today. That’s memorable… I have made for almost 70 cards! Though, I know it is not a very big number, but I am very happy with my achievement. And of course, I hope I can continue making cards in future, for the sake of my interest satisfaction!

Recently I have been making cards by using themes with objects (i.e. guitar, car). So, why not share this card with you too! Maybe, this card may give you some inspiration to start making a card on your own!

It is actually a combination of card design Z018 with a character she created from Pet Society, if you guys realized. Since my colleague loves the pet so much, I chose the pet as the theme of the card! So, if you are planning to make a card for your friends, your loved ones, or your relatives, you can actually think of what are the things they like or love very much. And based on that object or thing, you can actually start making the card already! That’s easy right?

Customized Car Birthday Card

A card made for my client – customized Car Birthday Card. It is my first time to make a card with a car. This is quite challenging because I need to think of what type of paper and materials to use, to come out with an outstanding car. Luckily, with the help of my client, she provided me an image of the car she hope to see on the card, and with it, I saved some time to think on what type of shape the car should be! Love this card!

Besides the challenge to think on how I should make this card, I am given only a week to complete the card and get it received by the recipient. Yes, it is kinda rush…but ‘phew’… I managed to make it.

As requested by my client, I have attached a beige paper with a birthday wish inside the card. Hopefully her friend will likes it and have a great birthday today!

This is a card I made with a guitar on it. It was my first time to cut out guitar to be added on the card. It was fun where I need to attach the strings one by one on the guitar. Haha! Though it does takes some time for me to complete this card, but I enjoy doing it since the effect is so much different from many of the cards I made.

Elegant Wedding Card

Actually I have planned this card a month ago, since my friend asked me to design a card for her brother’s wedding. But, I took some time to search for the suitable and matching papers to use and that’s why I just completed today. It is not easy to get the shinning card board as the card cover.

What’s more, using the same beautiful cloth as card Z019, I managed to put it on this wedding card. Because of the card is in beige colour, I chose to punch white flowers and arranged under the cloth.

As for the black and white image, I drew it myself since I’m not able to buy any stamper yet. Hopefully it is as pretty as the stamper. Haha… and I tied a white ribbon too on the card.

Yeap, inside of the card is attached with a light beige paper for your personal message and it comes with a beige envelope too. No text is added yet, however, if you would like me to write for you, I’ll try my best to do it for you!

Sweet & Cheerful Birthday Card

This sweet and cheerful birthday card is made with a black in colour cardboard. As you can see, there is this very big flower at the right hand side of the card. Cut the sweet wrapper into a flower shape and pasted on it. Then, I glued a purple flower sequin right at the middle of the flower.

I found a new way of doing the tag when making this card. What I did was, I burnt along the side of a beige paper and wrote the text, ‘Happy Birthday’ on it. That makes the card special and I love this technicque! Haha!

And at the bottom of the card, I have arranged few matching colourful stripes one by one and covered the end of the stripes with a purple ribbon on middle of the card. I even added some touches by drawing simple flower pattern as the background, cut off some pink flowers to decorate the tag and glued some sequins randomly on the card.

Beige Kikyou Birthday Card

What’s special about this card? I made it with a pretty piece of cloth! This beautiful piece of cloth is actually a see-through cloth with only patterns with leave. Feeling tempted with the colour and the pattern printed on the cloth, I decided to give it a try to make a card with it. I even added some beige in coloured, Kikyou flowers beneath the cloth. It is so lovely. I think you agree with me too right?

It’s Your Day Birthday Card

Another card to add into my Birthday cards collection. But it was my first time to use a grey cover paper to make a card! Well, getting to design using a grey paper is not that bad. All I need is to look for colours which are able to make good combinations on it. And this time, I’m choosing black colour wrapper, with lots of Birthday wishes on it.

Then, I drew a cupcake on a white colour paper and coloured it using pencil colours. In order to have the cupcake looks more outstanding; I attached a small pink ribbon on top of it. Aahh… it shine naturally when the lights is on! There is a beige in colour tag saying, ‘It’s Your Day’ at the right hand side of the card too.

Oh yes, and to keep the card not too dull, I arranged some black stars on top of the grey cover paper.

Starry Congratulations Card

Well, sorry for not posting any new post for such a long time. Quite busy with my other personal matters actually. But, please don’t be disappointed.

I came out with this design when I saw these attractive papers in a stationary shop in Kajang – gold and silver striking papers. It was in sticker type actually. And what I did was, I cut the gold and silver sticker into star shaped and stick them onto papers, 2 layers. That’s it! It’s kind of fun to play with the sticker when it keeps shining below the lights.

Meanwhile, I arranged the white and silver colour paper stripes on top of the black card board. Then, I wrote the words ‘Congratulations’ for almost 8 rows on the card. Never know it can be so tiring, just like a student started to learn on how to write. Haha… and finally, a silver ribbon is attached to the side of the card.

As usual, this card comes with a grey envelope and attached with beige in colour paper for your personal message. I have not written anything yet inside the card because I feel that this card can be used for multi purposes to congratulate someone special to you! Recently, I have been making roses for this coming occasion, Mother’s Day! As you can see, this bouquet of roses is made of papers and glue only.
