Mother's Day Card

Sorry for not posting anything since my last post. I was having a long break right after Chinese New Year till now. What I’m up to recently is the Mother’s Day card. This is the purple mother’s day card which I made last week and wanted to post it out today.

Actually, this is supposed to be a card for any occasion. But since the colours are so feminine, I added a tag with the word ‘Mom’ onto the card. Another reason that this card should go to mothers because Mother’s Day is coming soon (May 9)! I will make a card for my mom too! =P

As you see, right at the middle of the card is glued with 4 daisies flowers. As usual, these flowers were hand made using the craft punch. I purposely chose the yellow and purple flowers because the colours are able to make the flowers looks outstanding! Don’t you agree?

Behind of the flowers are stripes of papers, with some hearts attached to it freely. I tried not to make a bow there with the purple ribbon because it may be very complicated. So, this it is! I’m done with the card.

Inside of the card is attached with a light pink paper for your personal message. I’ll try my best to write for you if you have any wishes to write inside.


Besides that, I even spent some time making red roses with papers (picture below). It was my second attempt in making the roses since last year. Lol! I still remember making a basket of these roses for my brother to give to her girl friend as a birthday gift. So, I wanted to post it out this year and share it with you guys. It’s not that easy to make these roses because you’ll have to arrange the petal one by one and curved it in any way you want it to be. Wish I can show it step by step, but not now because I’m fully occupied at this moment.
