Be Mine Card

This year, I have designed a sweet purple and pink Valentine’s Day card for you to be sent to your loved ones. I love the pink and purple combinations. These colours are so sweet and go along easily.

I have cut a big heart to be placed at the center of the card with a dark purple paper. It has the words ‘Be Mine’ which I wrote in silver pen. But if you would like me to change the wordings inside the heart, I can help you to do so. And at the side of the cards are filled with lots of pink and light purple hearts. I have also tied a pink ribbon at the bottom of the card.

This card has a beige paper inside the card for your personal message and comes with a light purple envelope. If you have anything to express to your special ones, I can write for you. All you need is just send me the message.

Just For You (... on Valentine's Day) Card

I have come up with this Valentine’s card yesterday when I was making the customized Valentine’s card for my client. It is actually a combination of V003 and the customized card, if you notice.

Again, I have the colourful stripes attached at the back of the card. And then, I fill up the side of the card with a few sweet hearts. Each of these beautiful hearts are somehow has the pop-up effect, where I have used the double sided tape to stick them onto the card.

This card comes with a pink envelope and there is a paper for you to write your personal message. But if you would like me to write for you, just let me know. I’ll try my best. My first Valentine's Pop-up Card

This is a custom made card requested from a client of mine. She wants to have a special card for her loved one, and so, she requested for a card full with heart shaped balloons with 3D effect or a pop-up card. I have not work on any pop-up card before; you’ll know if you do follow my blog. So, this time, as a new resolution for the year, I would like to try making a pop-up card for her. But frankly, it’s not easy to make one because you have to think carefully on how you want the hearts to pop up nicely and do the measurement correctly.

The front of the card is a designed with a big heart and 2 small hearts, while the back of the card is glued with little red hearts. I have also cheer it up with colour stripes of papers (pink, beige, red).

The main thing inside of the card is the pop-up of heart balloons. I cut off a few heart-shaped balloons in red and pink and for each of the balloons; it is tied with a string. These strings will then be tied up together as a bundle. At the side of the balloons are decorated with little red hearts and sequins. And lastly, I have the very important message ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ written inside the small box.

As usual, this card comes with a light pink envelope. I hope my client will like it. I’m happy that I finally complete the card! Phew!

Chinese New Year Floral Card

I made this design based on a pot of Chinese flower. The pot has the 3D effect, where I added a sponge below the pot. And right at the middle of the pot, it has the red paper written the Chinese word, ‘Fook’ (happiness). Meanwhile, I used flower craft punch to punch out all the light red and pink flowers and decorated above the pot. I even drew the branches of the flower with metallic gold pen. Apart from the pot, I used metallic gold papers to paste at the top and bottom of the card to have the card more cheerful.

The same as my previous CNY cards, inside of the card has beige in colour paper for your personal message. The card comes along with a pink envelope.

A New Beginning of 2012!

 Happy New Year!

I have been taking break for Christmas and New Year for the past few days… Yes, a new year, a new resolution. I’m hoping to make more new cards for whomever who loves handmade cards! What about yours?

I have forgotten to post my draft of a large Christmas card and a cute penguin in a pinky card entry. Here it is… I got a request to make a big Christmas card, but I am only able to make the largest – half of an A4 size paper. I used the design of C009 and add up more decorations to the design. And instead of drawing the starry stars with my usual gold metallic pen, I punched metallic white snowflakes. And here’s the outcome…

And another request from my very loyal client to his girlfriend, he would like to have the card with a penguin as the theme and the card will need to be given for Birthday and Valentine’s Day card. So, I decided to cut off colourful balloons, birthday cake, Valentine’s presents and lots of hearts at the back of the card…
