Chinese New Year Card

N004 - SOLD

Another New Year card which I’d made for the last few days. It is different from the previous ones because I choose this light yellow in colour paper as the background. Sorry that the picture of it is dark. So, I tried to decorate it with mandarin oranges, red packets and peach flowers. Again, I drew the Chinese style patterns at the bottom of the card. Feeling fun! Hehe…

N004 (Inside)

Inside of the card is similar to the N001 and N002. This card comes along with a light pink envelope. If you would like to add any personal message, I try my best to help you write into it.

Chinese New Year Cards

Here come my Chinese New Year cards. I designed 3 cards for the last 2 weeks. Yea, I know it’s a bit slow because I do not really have the time to finish them. The common thing between these cards is that I used the Chinese flowers (peach flowers) as the main theme. In Chinese tradition, the peach often plays an important part and is symbolic of long life. There are in red and pink colours.

N001 - SOLD

As you can see, the first design illustrates the bushes of peach flowers. These flowers are punched using the craft punch which I bought last time and I drew it myself with gold pen to make them look prettier. There are 2 ribbons too attached both top and bottom of the card. And not to forget the wishing tag, “Gong Xi Fa Cai”. I chose to put a light pink paper inside of the card for your personal message. There is one beige in colour wishing tag too with the message “Wishing you a happy & prosperous new year!”.

N002

The second card is arranged using the Chinese fan. The painting inside the fan is branches of peach flowers. The branch are drawn by me and finished up by attaching the flowers onto the fan. Besides that, there are these Chinese words written at the right hand side of the card, “新年快乐”, which has the same meaning as “Happy New Year”. Same as the first card above, I have attached a light pink paper for your personal message as well as the tag.

N003

Lastly, I have this card designed by using the peach flowers’ branches and ribbons at the bottom of the card. As you noticed, I even draw some pattern using my gold pen to make the card looks more attractive in Chinese style. It was my first time to draw these patterns to card N002. And since I found it very nice, I tried it in this card too, but this time with 2 lines of the patterns. Hope it does play a nice role there. And right at the middle of the card, I attached a wishing tag “Happy Chinese New Year”. But, I did not write anything yet inside the card. Same as the other 2 cards, I chose to put a light paper inside the card for your personal message.

Each of the cards comes along with a light pink envelope. Do email me at yurikocraft4u@gmail.com if you are interested in getting one. And if you would like to add any personal messages or tags inside the card, I’ll try my best to help you with no charges. =D

A Birthday Card for my colleague at the beginning of the year!

I gave a birthday card for my colleague last Friday. It was special to me because I never make before cards with airplane on it! Though it looks simple, but actually it does take some of my time working on it since it was my first time doing it. But it turned out good! Haha… I’m comforting myself only I guess.

But seriously I love this card very much. Inside of the cards are decorated with colourful balloons and a long birthday wish. I thought of getting a balloon shape craft punch. But I have no time to go out and get it. So, cut it all out myself, haha. I love the balloons too, with gold strings attached to each of the balloons.

Meanwhile, I’m still working out on my Chinese New Year and Valentine’s cards. Hoping to post them out soon! Please be patient... Hehe...

Valentine's Day Card

In less than 2 months, Valentine’s Day is coming! So, have you people planning to give your loved ones gifts? Well, I have the mood of making one Valentine’s Day card even though it’s still a long way to go. But, since I made one, let me blog about it.

V001

As you can see, it’s a red Valentine’s Day card, suitable for either a guy or girl as the recipient. Right at the middle of the card is a big heart made of 3 colour papers – Dark Brown, Light Pink and Red. On top of it is attached with a Valentine’s Day tag. Meanwhile, both the top and bottom of the cards are decorated with small dark brown hearts…

V001

I have not written any love message inside the card. However, if you are interested in getting this, just let me know your preferable love message!

Just to let you know that, I’m looking forward in making Chinese New Year cards too! Do come and visit my blog more ya!

~Happy New Year! Cheers~
