Cut-off Birthday Card

This is another birthday card made on special request from a client of mine. He requested to have this card in a way that the front of the card is cut-off to have the special effect. It was a big challenge for me since it was my first time trying to cut the card with my penknife and ruler. Luckily, it is not that bad right? Hopefully he’ll like it.

He also requested to have the inside of the card to be colourful. At first, I was thinking to have few colourful stripes to be arranged at the bottom on the card, just to make the cup cake outstanding. But, it will not be that nice if only a few stripes are there. So, after scratching head for a day, finally I thought of cutting many colourful birthday balloons to cheer up the card. Yeay, the balloons indeed serve the purpose. And I’m glad with the outcome.

You’re Stuck Together Now Card

This is the card I made for my friend who’s going to marry soon. She likes pink and purple. That’s why this card is made of amethyst cardboard. This cardboard is far more expensive than the others because of the colour. It is a very nice colour. I love it too!

Outside of the card is a wedding cake which I cut few blocks of squares and decorate it with hearts, flowers and sequins. Right at the bottom of the card, it is glued with white laces and tied with a purple bow.

Inside of the card is decorated with a lovely couple kissing on each other. The couple is hand cut by me. The wedding veil is made of a nice lace I got and to make it more outstanding, I glued a purple flower sequin on it. Yeay, the outcome is perfect! Do you agree? =P And the bottom of the card, I wrote ‘You’re stuck together now. Congratulation!’. I do wish them they’ll be together forever…

My Superman Dad Card

Father’s day is the next occasion of the year in June. Yes, I made a superman version card for this special event. It is made of blue card board as the Superman’s costume, with yellow belt and red pants. The top of the card represents the red cape of Superman. Right at the middle of the card is attached with the Superman shield and surrounded by the words ‘My Dad’. It actually reflects ‘My Superman Dad’. I cut the stylished ‘S’ shield on my own because I do not have any equipments for that, as well as the wordings. Luckily, it still turns out good.

Inside of the card is decorated with big and small stars. These stars are cut out from the shinning sticker which I used before to make the Congratulations card earlier. And the message ‘Happy Father’s Day’ is written inside the card as well. But if you have any other personal message which requires my help, just shout out!

Sadly, I did not manage to make any new Mother’s day card this year. So, my clients chose from my existing design. The orders I got prefer to have the design of Z020 and modified the wordings on the card. And ta-da… this design indeed a multi-purpose design, from Lover’s card to Birthday card and now, to Mother’s Day card.
